Housing Management Coordinator

Pay £14.06 per hour (£27,500 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan.

Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week).

Based in Exeter city centre.


Job Overview

Providing housing management service, you will support customers with tenancy, rent accounts, and help them move on to secure long‑term accommodation.


What you'll do

* Make sure customer properties are homes they can be proud of, engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring they are received on their rent account.
* Issue and sign warning letters and notices where necessary, which may lead to attending court.
* Turn around vacant or void rooms/bed spaces/properties within set timescales to maximise occupancy.
* Ensure health and safety compliance and maintenance standards are met.

Qualifications and Experience

* Experience managing a housing caseload and handling landlord and housing management duties.
* Know‑how of re‑letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
* Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
* The ability to work independently, positively influencing people from all backgrounds.
* Confident collaborating with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners.


The Practical Bits

* Working 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends) on a rolling rota, shift time 10am to 6pm.
* Based at our Exeter service, also spending time working with customers at move‑on properties in the city centre.
* Must be able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and sign‑ups.
* Required to have an Enhanced DBS check (which we cover).
