Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
* Develop and implement a business curriculum that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application of business concepts.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them excel.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to explore business ideas and develop their entrepreneurial skills.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to the department's goals, and promote continuous improvement.
* Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them updated on students’ progress and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Business Studies, Business Education, or a related field.
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Proven experience teaching business at secondary school level, ideally at both KS4 and KS5.
* In-depth knowledge of business theory, including marketing, economics, finance, and entrepreneurship.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A commitment to student development and a passion for helping them achieve their potential.
