They're now looking for a Draughtsperson to join their design team in Darlington.This is a great opportunity to get involved in technically varied work and contribute to some of the UK's most recognised commercial developments.Salary & BenefitsSalary: £35,000 - £43,000 (depending on experience)Holiday: 25 days + Bank HolidaysWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am - 4:00pmFlexibility on start/finish times consideredA friendly, collaborative office environmentInvolvement in award-winning projects across the countryOngoing support and development opportunitiesDuties:Working closely with the design and project teams, you'll be producing technical drawings and detailing solutions for roofing and cladding systems across a range of commercial builds.Your role will include:Creating detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawingsReading and interpreting architectural drawings, specs, and tender documentsCoordinating with internal teams and external consultantsAttending project handovers and design meetingsUpdating drawings to reflect design changes or site variationsLiaising with subcontractors and suppliers on specialist elementsSupporting junior team members as neededAssisting with as-built documentation at project close-outRequirements:A qualification such as an HNC (or equivalent) in design, construction, or a related fieldExperience in a draughting or design role within the construction industryStrong skills in AutoCAD (any 3D CAD knowledge is a bonus)Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong communication and collaboration skillsIdeally, some knowledge of roofing or cladding systems - such as rainscreen cladding, composite panels, flat or metal roofingWhy This Role?You'll be joining a stable and experienced team where your work will make a real impact.
