£12.25 per hour to £13.75 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
Full Time – Monday to Thursday, 8.30am–5pm 8.30am–4pm Fridays (39Hrs)
Job Description:
We’re seeking a technically skilled individual—ideally with experience in a workshop or parts department, particularly in garden machinery or the hire trade—to join our growing team as a Technical Support Advisor. While industry-specific experience is an advantage, it’s not essential, as full training will be provided.
In this role, you’ll be an important part of the customer services team, helping customers not just with their orders, but also offering them technical support to identify the parts they require. You’ll use your practical experience and product knowledge to guide customers, and help them choose the right solutions for the job.
What you’ll be doing:
Technical Support:
Help customers to identify the parts required over the phone and email.
Assist customers in understanding machine parts diagrams and technical breakdowns using manufacturer websites and portals.
Provide feedback from customers to our product development team, helping us keep our range up to date.
Customer Service & Sales Support:
Answer phone calls and emails in a friendly, professional way.
Help customers place orders accurately and efficiently.
Deal with customer queries and complaints.
Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
What we’re looking for:
A technically minded individual to join our growing team as a Technical Support Advisor. A background in garden machinery/hire trade is a big plus. However, industry-specific knowledge isn’t required, as full training will be provided.
At least 2 years of experience working in a sales, parts, or customer service role.
Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Organised, able to prioritise jobs and meet deadlines.
Reliable, punctual, and open to learning new systems and processes.
