**Exciting Opportunity for a Litigation Associate/Senior Solicitor – Edinburgh**
Oculus Legal Group is pleased to be supporting one of our long-standing clients, a highly regarded and successful firm based in Scotland, as they continue their growth and expansion. Due to their continued success, they are now seeking a Litigation Associate/Senior Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join their busy team in Edinburgh.
Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established firm with a strong reputation for delivering excellent results in the personal injury and litigation space. The successful candidate will manage and supervise a team of solicitors handling a diverse range of complex and high-value cases, including RTA, EL/PL, vehicle damage, and hire claims.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Manage and supervise a team handling RTA, EL/PL, injury, vehicle damage, and hire claims
🔹 Oversee a caseload of complex and high-value claims, ensuring compliance with Scottish civil litigation procedures
🔹 Provide technical guidance to team members on liability, causation, and quantum assessments
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years PQE with strong experience in litigation, particularly in personal injury claims, and a solid understanding of both Sheriff Court and Court of Session procedures. You should have the ability to lead a team effectively while working collaboratively to achieve results, alongside strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills. A solution-focused approach with excellent interpersonal communication skills is essential, as is experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on credit hire.
