Job Description
Shift:
1. Tuesday-Saturday 14:00pm.
2. Monday-Friday 15:00pm.
3. Monday-Friday 20:00pm.
4. Any 5 from 7 - 23:00pm.
Salary: £14.40 per hour plus a £1 per hour Night supplement.
5. Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
6. Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
7. Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
8. Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
9. Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
10. Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
11. Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
12. Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
13. Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
14. Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver - 1 year is essential for this position.
15. Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
16. Excellent attention to detail
17. Ability to work without direct supervision
18. Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training
19. Conscientious and reliable
