Deputy Manager - Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Salary: £55,000
Hours: Full-Time
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our care home as Deputy Manager. In this role, you will work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.
The role involves:
Supporting the day-to-day running of the care home.
Leading and mentoring staff to maintain excellent care standards.
Managing clinical care, including medication, care plans, and risk assessments.
Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.
Acting as the point of contact in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Maintaining accurate records for audits and inspections.
Requirements:
Current registration with the NMC (active PIN).
Previous experience in nursing and residential care management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding, care standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
