Children's Activity Support Worker Location: Stoke on Trent Shifts: 4 days and nights on 7 off Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives through adventure and care? Join our client’s specialised residential setting and help transform the futures of children aged 8–18 by providing tailored support in a vibrant, outdoor environment. As a Children’s Activity-Based Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting young people to develop confidence, resilience, and independence. This role offers a unique blend of personal care and outdoor adventure activities, including climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking. With accommodation and meals provided during your four consecutive days on shift, you will be at the centre of creating meaningful experiences that foster growth and positive change. Key responsibilities Build nurturing relationships with young people, offering emotional stability and daily support Lead outdoor activities that promote confidence, teamwork, and life skills Act as a positive role model, supporting personal and social development through structured activities and daily routines Work collaboratively within a supportive team to maintain a safe and stimulating environment Adhere to shift patterns involving sleep-ins and working four consecutive days, followed by seven days off Over 21 years of age Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Right to work in the UK Experience working with children Ability to commit to 4 days and nights away from home.
