Benefits: Basic salary of £50,669 with uncapped on-target earnings of £57,000 40 hours per week, scheduled between 6:00am and 2:00am Fully equipped company van, work tablet, and mobile phone provided Business fuel allowance included 23 days annual leave, increasing to 25 days with continuous service Option to take leave during school half-term periods Comprehensive induction, technical training, and career development plans Access to benefits schemes including free breakdown cover, healthcare, and wellbeing support Company life assurance linked to pension scheme Opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading automotive breakdown and repair organisations Duties: Respond to roadside assistance calls across various UK locations as a Roadside Vehicle Technician Diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle faults, utilising electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic skills Service diverse vehicle types, from city cars to 4x4s and commercial vehicles Operate independently with a fully equipped company van Assist customers during stressful breakdown situations, providing professional support Accurately record work details and vehicle status reports Work flexibly within scheduled hours, with the possibility of emergency call-outs and work away from home Contribute to the operational efficiency and reputation of the company as a Roadside Vehicle Technician Requirements: Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience as a Roadside Vehicle Technician Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic expertise on various vehicle types Valid UK driving licence with minimal endorsements Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating organisation and professionalism Friendly, calm, and charismatic personality, able to handle customer interactions confidently Willingness to work across the UK, including staying away from home up to 4 weeks annually, with all expenses reimbursed If you are an experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician looking for a role with scope, variety, and a supportive team, this is the opportunity for you.
