Nemesis Now are creators and global suppliers of original pop culture merchandise, giftware, and collectibles across the UK, USA, and Europe. Our products are built around our brand DNA of Imagination Realised, brought to life by our in-house design team in partnership with world class licensors including Warner Brothers, covering brands such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones. We are looking for an experienced, commercially strong National Account Manager who treats their territory like a business, thrives in premium selling environments, and knows how to grow and protect key accounts while consistently uncovering new opportunity. This is not an entry level role. This role is for someone who has already proven they can sell, negotiate, influence, and close at a high level. The Opportunity As a National Account Manager, you will take ownership of strategically important national accounts and be trusted to grow them. You will sell, service, and expand those relationships through phone, video calls, and in person meetings, while also hunting for new opportunities when your pipeline demands it. This role requires someone who prioritises real conversations over inbox activity. You understand that the phone is used to set meetings and advance deals, that video and in person meetings are where selling happens, and that email or text communication is a last resort, not a primary sales strategy. You will work directly with senior customer stakeholders, negotiate at management level, and move opportunities forward without delay. You will collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, and you will have the autonomy to run your accounts with an entrepreneurial mindset. This Role Is a Strong Fit If You • Have a proven track record selling premium products at premium pricing • Are confident and effective selling over the phone, on video calls, and in person • Prioritise face-to-face meetings and video calls rather than prolonged email exchanges • Use the phone to set meetings and advance opportunities, not to simply “check in” • Understand that email and text are support tools, not selling tools • Are comfortable calling on management level decision makers and influencing outcomes • Overcome resistance early in the sales process rather than avoiding it • Consistently beat competition by selling value, not price • Have successfully secured large orders and high-ticket sales • Move opportunities through the sales process efficiently and close when customers say they will decide • Actively hunt for new opportunities within existing accounts • Prospect proactively when your pipeline needs activity, without being prompted • Enjoy attending and selling at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events • Treat your territory and book of business as if it were your own company • Work well independently, take initiative, and hold yourself accountable Important: We’ve found that the most successful people in this role use a balanced outreach strategy. While email is important, strong phone and in person relationship-building skills are essential. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow national accounts • Achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and profitability targets • Proactively engage customers by phone, video calls, and in person to advance opportunities • Negotiate annual contracts, pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within existing accounts • Lead joint business planning and regular account reviews • Forecast account performance and adjust strategy to stay on target • Analyse customer data, market trends, and competitor activity • Collaborate internally to ensure strong execution and customer satisfaction • Maintain compliance with company policies What You Bring • Excellent phone skills and confidence leading sales conversations • A strong preference for selling live rather than relying on email • A consultative, value based selling approach • Strong negotiation, questioning, and closing skills • Comfort owning strategic responsibility and being accountable for results • High energy, resilience, and a competitive mindset • A passion for premium products and licensed brands • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel Why Nemesis Now • A key, visible role with influence across the business • Autonomy and trust to run your accounts like a business • Opportunity to shape national account strategy • Competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits • Flexible working around core hours • A collaborative, ambitious, and creative culture • Clear progression as the business continues to grow Based in Stoke on Trent with UK and occasional international travel.
