Senior Paralegal – Corporate
Hybrid Working (with occasional travel to Worcester)
Circa £30,000 per annum
GMP Recruitment Agency Ltd are proud to be partnered with a highly regarded and growing legal practice in their search for an experienced Senior Paralegal – Corporate to join their team on a hybrid basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded paralegal to step into a senior position, supporting a busy corporate team with a strong pipeline of high-quality work.
The Role
As a Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting solicitors and partners on a broad range of corporate matters. You will be trusted to manage your own caseload where appropriate, while also assisting on more complex transactions.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Drafting and reviewing a range of corporate documents, including:
* Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs)
* Shareholder Agreements
* Joint Venture Agreements
* Assisting with mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructures
* Supporting on EMI schemes and other share incentive arrangements
* Managing due diligence processes and preparing reports
* Liaising directly with clients, providing a high standard of service
* Supporting transaction completions and post-completion filings
* Maintaining and developing strong internal and client relationships
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Proven experience working within a corporate legal team
* Strong drafting experience across corporate documentation (including SPAs and joint ventures)
* Experience supporting on M&A transactions and due diligence processes
* Exposure to EMI schemes or share incentive arrangements (desirable)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* A proactive and commercially aware mindset
