Position: NDT Technician
As an NDT Technician, you will be qualified to PCN Level 2 in MPI, DPI, and UT welds (minimum 3.1, 3.2). Additional qualifications in UT wrought products and Eddy current are desirable, with training and examinations provided to attain these qualifications.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Minimum PCN Level 2 qualifications in DPI, MPI, and UT
* Strong collaboration skills and a team player mentality
* Basic engineering and/or NDT background
* Good understanding of mathematical formulas
* Excellent computer literacy
* Flexible work attitude; willingness to travel around the UK
About the Opportunity:
You will work as part of the site inspection team, visiting various client sites across the UK to perform NDT examinations either independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include testing customer parts and components according to relevant specifications. You will perform calibration checks regularly to ensure process and equipment compliance.
Key Activities:
* Perform Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Ultrasonic inspection mainly on steel or composite parts
* Conduct daily, monthly, and annual calibration checks
* Participate in audits as required
* Provide accurate reports upon completion of work
* Maintain a willingness to learn and adapt within a changing environment
