Assistant Workshop Controller / QC Technician – Join the Team at Touch Ups Bodyshop
Touch Ups Bodyshop is looking for an organized, motivated, and detail-focused Assistant Workshop Controller / QC Technician to join our busy, manufacturer-approved repair centre in Glasgow.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the day‑to‑day control of workshop workflow
* Monitor vehicle progress and ensure repair deadlines are met
* Carry out quality control inspections before vehicle handover
* Liaise with technicians, estimators, parts suppliers, and office staff
* Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and company standards
* Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation
* Support excellent customer service throughout the repair process
Qualifications
* Experience within the automotive repair industry preferred
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Full UK driving licence preferred
