Job Title: Business Controller / Management Accountant Location: Bristol (hybrid) Job Type: Contract, expected 9 months IR35: Inside Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Business Controller / Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to work within a global aerospace leader, supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance across multiple business units. Key Responsibilities: Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Partner with operational managers to identify and evaluate improvement projects, including ROI and business case validation. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to both local and central teams, highlighting performance trends and risks. Provide financial insight and challenge to operational teams, supporting them in achieving targets through actionable recommendations. Evaluate business cases for capital investments and performance improvement initiatives. Support controlling activities across Recurring Costs, Inventory, Non-Recurring Costs, and Capex (Jigs/Tools). What We're Looking For: CIMA qualified with at least 2 years' experience in a business partnering or management accounting role (or 5 years' experience as an accountant if not qualified). Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in project accounting is essential.
