Data Analyst
to join our commercial ops team at our Staverton/Cleeve facilities.

What will you be doing?
The Data Analyst - Commercial Operations will support the Sales teams in our Staverton and Cleeve facilities and reports to the OE Commercial Operations Manager.
The Commercial Ops function was created with the primary goal of driving revenue growth in the business and will work hand in hand with the Sales team, Finance team, upper management, and others to streamline the many processes and activities that support Sales in the current state. This role will be critical in establishing data models and processes, analytics capabilities, KPI's, dashboards, and management reporting in order to empower the Sales team with the tools they need, ultimately driving growth.
This is a high-visibility role within the business with opportunity for growth within the organisation.
* Develop tools, processes, and standardised metrics to analyse and report out on sales performance, including BI tools & dashboards, customer scorecards, and report-outs
* Analyse sales performance to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in performance.
* Prepare, present, and distribute periodic management reporting of sales and commercial KPI's to Sales team, senior management, and account directors
* Partner with Sales, Senior Management, Business Development, and Revenue Management teams to understand and drive revenue growth in the business
* Develop, improve, and maintain data models, using Snowflake, from a wide range of sources to ensure a trusted, validated, single source of truth in the business in relation to sales metrics
* Strengthen capability and use of existing CRM tools to improve visibility of Sales pipeline
* Identify gaps and issues with data inputs, and drive related process improvement in the business
* Support Sales team with demand forecasting and maintenance of Sales pipeline
* Perform ad hoc analysis relating to sales performance
Required Knowledge
* Strong proficiency with BI tools, i.e. Power BI or Tableau
* High level of data literacy and ability to manipulate it, including cleansing, organizing, and preparing for use in BI tools and Excel models
* Experience and coding ability with SQL, Python, R, and Power Query/DAX
* Strong Excel skills and other Microsoft Office application experience
* Strong presentation skills with ability to distil and explain complex data simply and concisely
* Working knowledge of business finance and statistical methods
