Accommodation Support Officer - Waking Nights (Brooksby Campus)

We are recruiting an enthusiastic team of Accommodation Support Officers to provide welfare, safety, and practical support to students aged 16 and over in our 104-bed halls of residence and host family accommodations. The role involves liaising with student residents, overseeing security, safety, wellbeing, and organizing events.
This casual vacancy requires out-of-office hours work, including weekends and bank holidays, on a flexible rota basis, as we operate 24/7. The working pattern available is: Waking Nights: 22:00 – 08:30. Applicants must be routinely available to work these hours. This is a waking night role. Although primarily based at Brooksby College, some flexibility may be required to work occasional shifts at Loughborough College Accommodation to ensure both sites have adequate 24-hour staffing.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over, in accordance with working time regulations 1998. Successful candidates will need NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English (e.g., GCSE grades A-C) and will participate in induction training prior to shift allocation. Please note that no accommodation is provided with this role.

The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary of Loughborough College. Employment terms differ from those of Loughborough College.
