Associate Director Fire Engineer Job in Manchester\n\nAssociate Director Fire Engineer job in Manchester for an established and leading fire consultancy. As a key senior member of the Fire Engineering team, you will play an active role in the leadership and delivery of complex fire engineering projects across all RIBA stages. The role offers a salary of £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience, plus bonus, hybrid working, private healthcare, 28 days annual leave + BH, and continuous CPD / professional development.\n\nThe practice provides strategic advice, innovative design, construction oversight and risk management services to clients across the UK and globally.

Their work spans a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, transport, healthcare, hospitality and nuclear.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nLeading technical delivery of major and complex fire engineering projects\nSupporting and mentoring Engineers and Senior Engineers within the team\nManaging project finances, quality planning and customer care\nOverseeing preparation of reports, engineering designs, calculations and specifications\nClient-facing throughout the lifecycle of projects\nContributing to the business strategy and supporting with digital innovations\nDeveloping new and existing client relationships\nLeading internal technical reviews and supporting ongoing CPD across the team.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nEngineering Council Accredited BEng Hons, MEng or MSc\nCEng / IEng or working towards\nMIFireE or working towards\nIdeally 8+ years' experience in fire engineering\nExtensive experience in delivering fire-engineered solutions for UK-based projects\nFamiliar with passive and active fire protection systems\nStrong understanding of UK legislation/regulations and design guidance (applicants from Australia or New Zealand with similar regulatory experience also considered)\nExcellent communication and project management skills\nUK Driving Licence and own vehicle.\n\nWhat you get back\n\nSalary £80,000 - £100,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)\nBonus + Chartership Bonus\n28 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (option to buy additional days)\nPrivate healthcare\nPension scheme\nMileage paid (45p per mile)\nElectric car benefit scheme\nLife Cover\nContinuous CPD / Professional development.\n\nApply\n\nIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
