Mobile HGV Trailer Technician required in Knottingley:
1. SALARY: £36-38,000 annual starting salary depending on experience.
2. HOURS: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility on work hours.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a HGV Trailer Technician to join our client, one of Europe's leading transportation/logistics solutions companies, at their location in Knottingley.
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, your key responsibilities will include:
4. Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality.
5. Accurately and efficiently complete all compliance documentation.
6. Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE.
7. Participate in ongoing product and industry training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW & SAF axle/brake training to continuously develop your expertise.
8. Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting tight deadlines.
9. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
10. Consistently uphold and demonstrate our client's values and behaviours.
To be eligible, you will need to be qualified to at least an NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair with some practical experience on trailers or tail lifts. Any EBS diagnostics experience, welding certifications, training or experience with axle manufacturers, or double deck/lifting deck maintenance experience would be highly desirable but is non-essential. Likewise, a HGV Class 1 Driving Licence would also be highly desirable but is non-essential. Overall, you will be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you and your team.
