OverviewA highly-successful Essex-based ElectricalContractorare looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their project-delivery team based out of their Head Office in Essex. The role is a hybrid role of 3 days in the office and 2 will be site/home working.They work mainly within the commercial and Healthcare sectors in an around London and the South East and beyond with project values up to around £3m.The ideal candidate will come from an electrical background, either from the tools or from an education background. They are ideally looking for someone with experience within the healthcare and or pharmaceutical sectors.
You will need excellent technical knowledge and also strong financial management experience.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOversight of companies multiple ongoing development projects.Develop a close relationship with the site teams and a detailed knowledge of your allocated sites by maintaining a visible site presence.On-Site meetings with clients, site managers and engineers.Material procurementContract management and dispute resolution.Assistance with the procurement of sub-contractors.Attend relevant project design, pre-start, specification, other relevant meetings as required.Support the site teams to running a successful development project.Person SpecificationHighly organised.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and quality.Previous/Current experience in a similar roleExperience within the healthcare/pharma sector in the UK.A strong knowledge and appreciation of UK building and Electrical regulationsExperience managing both internal teams and external clients in a commercial environment.Strong knowledge and experience of relevant IT systems and experience with MS Office strong excel skills essential as this is our preferred method of analysis / budget tracking.TPBN1_UKTJ
