Quality Inspector – Manufacturing
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Reading who are looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their growing quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished components
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Use a range of measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges, CMM advantageous)
* Identify non-conformances and raise quality reports
* Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
* Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
* Experience using manual inspection tools (CMM experience is a plus)
* Knowledge of ISO quality standards preferred
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
