My client is a fast-growing high-tech manufacturing business seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support their Procurement team in ensuring timely, accurate purchasing of goods and services to meet production demands.
This Purchasing Assistant role is new, with real scope to grow and develop as the company expands. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of the procurement process and be part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Raise purchase orders and maintain ERP system data.
Monitor and manage stock levels across multiple sites.
Support supplier relationships and communications.
Ensure deliveries are on time, in full, and meet quality standards.
Analyse data to identify and resolve delays or issues.
Help maintain consumables and essential supplies.
Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency projects.
Requirements:
ERP or MRP system experience (essential).
Understanding of supply chain or purchasing functions.
Strong planning, organisation, and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Confident using Microsoft Office.
Positive, flexible, and collaborative attitude.
