To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE Essential Commercial awareness: Strong commercial mindset with the ability to improve sales performance through structured analysis, pipeline visibility, and disciplined execution. Analytical capability: Strong ability to analyse trends, risks, and opportunities, translating data and research into actionable commercial insight. Commercial reporting & modelling: Experience producing and maintaining sales, pipeline, including basic financial modelling such as pricing, margin analysis, and business case support. Commercial coordination: Comfortable working across sales, finance, and operational teams to coordinate bids, proposals, and commercial initiatives. Technical proficiency: Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel is essential. Required Competencies Proactive Approach: A self-starter with a willingness to take ownership and move initiatives forward. Detail-oriented: A focus on accuracy, clarity, and delivering logical, decision-useful outputs. Communication & stakeholder management: confident communicator, able to engage and coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders and regions. Required Work Experience Demonstrable experience in a commercial, analytical, or finance-related role. Experience in data analysis and translating research into market intelligence is essential. Exposure to sales environments or commercial pipeline management is preferred. Required Qualifications A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar field would be advantageous but not essential.
