Portsmouth Water are excited to have a new opportunity in our growing Leakage and Smart Networks department to target, plan and deploy against active leakage control (ALC) activity. As ALC Planner, you will also create, update and maintain our internal playbooks and guides.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
Assess district metering area (DMA) night flows and target DMA's efficiently
Liaise with other departments regarding leaks, work orders etc.
Drive leakage reduction through detection
Project manage leakage projects when required
Create and maintain our playbooks, which will drive our campaign detection work
Manage ALC campaigns, and feed in data via the playbooks
Prioritise detection opportunities
What do you need?
Skills, Qualifications & Competencies
Analytical mindset
Knowledge of water distribution networks
Experience working in the field
Team leading/ supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with IFS
Basic understanding of hydraulics
Strong leadership skills
Waternet experience
