We are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary SEMH provision in Bournemouth. About the School This provision supports students who require a more tailored and nurturing educational environment due to social, emotional, and mental health needs. Many pupils have faced barriers to learning in mainstream settings and benefit from a structured, supportive approach that focuses on building trust, confidence, and life skills. The school places a strong emphasis on: Individualised learning pathways Restorative and therapeutic approaches to behaviour Developing independence and resilience Community-based learning, including off-site activities designed to re-engage students and build real-world skills Staff work closely with students to help them re-engage with education, develop positive relationships, and achieve meaningful outcomes both academically and personally.
