Overview
Maintenance Engineer — Location: Peterborough. Salary: Circa £47,000 per annum. Shift Pattern: 12 Hour Days and Nights Rotation, 42 Hour Average Week. This is a hands-on role focusing on reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure site reliability.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, optimise and repair a wide range of equipment across electrical and mechanical systems
* PLC Troubleshooting
* Contributing to both scheduled maintenance and immediate breakdown response
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive machine reliability and performance
Qualifications
* A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, such as NVQ or BTEC
* Experience in a similar role such as multi-skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, maintenance technician, or electrical maintenance engineer
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
