Job Overview

We require 3 full-time Clerical Officer, to provide admin / clerical support / reception and contact centre experience for the Outpatient Health Records Service, based primarily at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy but may on occasion be required to cover any of the 4 main sites including Adamson Hospital Cupar, Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline and St Andrews Community Hospital.

Responsibilities

Relevant admin / clerical and reception experience is required as is the ability to prioritise and deal with the day to day workload in a busy, physically & mentally challenging environment. Flexible working hours and a good understanding of filing and appointment systems is required. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

You should be educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent) with passes in English and Maths. You must also have good keyboard / typing skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. Good organisational and listening skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to working. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required.

  • A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
