Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare soil samples accurately for laboratory analysis
2. Label and organise soil samples in line with lab standards
3. Carry out heavy lifting when moving soil samples and equipment
4. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient lab environment
5. Support laboratory technicians with sample preparation tasks
6. Follow health and safety procedures at all times
7. Record sample handling details and report discrepancies quickly
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Ability to work in a lab environment, handling soil samples
9. Physical fitness to manage heavy lifting regularly
10. Strong attention to detail when preparing and labelling samples
11. Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
12. Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic
13. Ability to work well within a team
