Our client, a respected charity supporting people with disabilities and care needs, is seeking a
Centre Manager
to oversee the day-to-day running of their service in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a centre that plays a vital role in providing care, support, and community engagement.
As a Centre Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the centre, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for service users and staff.
* Supervise, mentor, and support staff, ensuring effective rotas and cover are in place.
* Oversee compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.
* Manage budgets, monitor resources, and ensure cost-effective operations.
* Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, families, and external partners.
* Drive service improvements and ensure high-quality care delivery tailored to individual needs.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience managing a centre, service, or team in the care, disability, or charity sector.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate staff.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and care regulations.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Financial awareness and experience managing budgets or resources.
* A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to balance strategic oversight and day-to-day management.
