Job Description:
This role offers an exciting opportunity within the V&I Commercial team to provide high-quality administrative support to the VP and the V&I Commercial Leadership Team, focusing on the commercialization of the V&I pipeline. You will be a key contact for the V&I unit in Cambridge, supporting activities such as townhalls and engagement events.
The ideal candidate will have high standards, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the confidence to work independently. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities include diary management, coordinating meetings, processing expenses, arranging virtual meetings and travel, managing complex travel including visas, and preparing materials for meetings.
You should have strong influencing skills, patience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands. The role often requires working independently and responding effectively to stakeholder needs.
Accountabilities:
* Provide high-level administrative support to the SVP and the Leadership Team, including diary management, meeting organization, travel arrangements, and documentation.
* Support and deliver projects as agreed with the VP and Leadership Team.
* Act as a point of contact between the V&I functions and the wider organization.
* Collaborate with other administrative colleagues and contribute to cross-V&I activities.
* Previous PA experience at the VP level, with energy and passion.
* Ability to prioritize, work independently, and use initiative.
* Perform effectively under pressure, demonstrating flexibility.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discretely.
* Proven project coordination skills and experience organizing complex meetings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Experience working in a multinational and cross-geographic team, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
