Psychology Graduates – Student Support Roles in Secondary Education

Protocol Education is partnering with a large secondary school in South Tyneside with a strong SEND department. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your expertise in neurodiversity, SEMH, behaviour strategies, and inclusive practice – ideal for those aiming for careers in Educational Psychology, Teaching, or further postgraduate study.
The role:
* Provide in-class support and one-to-one mentoring for students with additional needs
* Help staff implement personalised learning strategies and interventions
* Promote confidence, autonomy, and wellbeing across the school
* Work closely with students, staff, families, and external agencies as needed
About the school:

Working through Protocol Education:
You will be employed by Protocol Education for a minimum of 12 weeks, giving you:

After this initial period, there may be an opportunity for you to transfer directly onto the school’s contract, depending on performance and staffing needs.
