It plays a key part in expanding the Commercial Lending Team and leveraging strategic investments to grow a successful business for commercial clients.
About the role
1. Be customer-obsessed, responsible for developing customer-centric commercial propositions and product innovations.
2. Collaborate with the Commercial Lending Team to create insight-driven products that meet market needs and deliver commercial benefits.
3. Lead the management of an ongoing portfolio of change, assessing impact and ensuring alignment with group strategy and regulatory standards.
About you
1. Understanding of financial products and their value creation for business and customers.
2. Strong stakeholder network and industry awareness, including knowledge of competitors.
3. Experience in delivering change, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
4. Leadership experience, capable of motivating and developing teams, including remotely.
5. Knowledge of lending onboarding operations, especially within commercial mortgages, and experience with loan application processes.
6. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations.
7. Experience in process improvement and a mindset geared towards efficiency and customer service excellence.
8. Commitment to delivering first-class customer service and supporting team members in doing the same, including broker engagement.
