Finance Assistant

The successful candidate will join a strong and evolving finance function as a Finance Assistant to support the wider finance team during this growth phase and beyond. They will be both career-focused while having a great team work ethic. The candidate will assist across the entire finance function including, purchase ledger, sales ledger, assisting in month end management accounts, and general finance ad hoc tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing staff expenses
* Processing invoices and receipts, and monthly recurring revenue schedules
* Addressing queries and building relationships with stakeholders
* Completing bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis with great accuracy
* Assist in financial reporting and analysis to inform decision-making
* Actively participate in process improvement and implementation to drive operational efficiencies
Skills and Experience Needed:
* 2+ years of experience in a finance role that is similar
* Aptitude with a variety of accounting software and willing to explore more
* The ability to prioritise workload effectively and be adaptable to changes in priority
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Degree educated or AAT qualification (preferred)
