HVAP Shift Lead
£52,000 + 5k shift allowance
(7-7) continental shift (days and nights)
Purpose of the Role
To ensure all critical building systems and environmental conditions are maintained consistently and effectively. The role involves supervising the day-to-day operations of an engineering shift team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance within the contract site. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, UPS, generators, and LV electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose faults using graphical interfaces and alarm data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct routine PPM on all M&E plant in accordance with site schedules and asset lists.
2. Complete and proactively manage reactive maintenance tasks across the site, including fabric and concessionary store-related issues.
3. Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contract standards. Manage safe work approvals and on-site operations.
4. Operate the Permit to Work system in line with company H&S procedures and client-specific requirements.
5. Identify and resolve plant faults and defects promptly to ensure continuous serviceability.
