Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Reconciliation Specialist to join a fast-growing, digitally native consumer brand (e-commerce). The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is now entering an exciting new phase of growth. This role will grow with the business and would be first in line to become a future Transactional Finance Manager.
This is a key role in a small but scaling finance team, working closely with the Finance Director and taking ownership of core transactional processes including AP, bank reconciliations, and nominal postings.
You'll be joining a dynamic, collaborative environment where your work will play a vital role in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities
* Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and supplier payments
* Posting directly to the nominal ledger
* Preparing and processing accruals and prepayments
* Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining account accuracy
* Supporting month-end close with transactional reporting and reconciliations
* Assisting with general finance queries and improving day-to-day processes
Qualifications
* AAT Qualified
* Strong experience in Accounts Payable and reconciliations
* Confident working with nominal ledgers and accruals
* Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach
* Comfortable working in a dynamic SME or e-commerce environment
