Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team in Southampton.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and enjoys working closely with pupils who may need additional support with their learning, development, or wellbeing.
The Role
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils in the classroom
Support children with additional needs, including SEN, social, or emotional needs
Assist the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
About You
A calm, caring, and patient approach
Experience working with children (school or educational setting preferred)
A good understanding of inclusion and safeguarding
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
