Hours of Work: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Thursday, temporary (fixed term contract with potential to become permanent).
Responsibilities
* As a Production Technician, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities that play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations. You will be involved in the assembly and testing of electrical and computer-based components, maintaining precise records and effectively communicating any technical issues.
* You will work meticulously on mechanical assembly and ensure that all processes align with high-quality standards.
* Your attention to detail will be paramount as you help uphold the customer-centric ethos of our business.
* Moreover, you’ll collaborate with an enthusiastic team, performing various duties in different areas as directed by the business.
What we are looking for
* Understanding of computer hardware components.
* Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications.
* A high level of manual dexterity required.
* Must be reasonably fit and able as the role may involve a physical element.
Useful Additional Experience
* Experience of cable assembly, harnessing and looms.
* Soldering experience to J-STD level.
* Awareness or certification in IPC standards IPC-610 and IPC-620.
* Good understanding of mechanical assembly and Standards.
