Role Overview
As an HR Business Partner within a consultancy environment, you will work closely with internal teams and external clients to deliver strategic HR solutions that drive business performance, talent development, and organisational resilience. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping consultancy clients navigate complex people challenges while also supporting the internal growth and culture of the consultancy itself. This is a hands on role.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with client to understand their business goals and deliver tailored HR strategies.
* Provide expert guidance on culture, employee relations, performance management, and L&D requirements.
* Support clients with change management, restructures, and workforce planning initiatives.
* Deliver HR audits, policy reviews, and compliance assessments for clients.
Internal Consultancy Support
* Collaborate with leadership to shape internal people strategy, culture, and engagement.
* Lead internal HR initiatives including recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across consultancy practices.
Project Delivery
* Manage and deliver HR consultancy projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
* Develop toolkits, frameworks, and training materials for client use.
* Contribute to proposals and business development activities by showcasing HR expertise.
Project Delivery
* Deliver learning programmes where necessary for clients.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience at senior level preferred.
* Proven experience in an HRBP or senior HR advisory role, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
* Commercial awareness and ability to align HR solutions with business strategy.
