We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Service Administrator to join our Education Transport Team. The team is responsible for procuring School Services throughout West Yorkshire on behalf of all five district councils and providing zero‑fare home‑to‑school travel passes for statutory pupils under the guidance of three of the district councils' home‑to‑school transport policy.

The Role
* Provide the first point of contact for customers.
* Use databases to process bus pass applications and book primary school children on and off Mybus primary services.
* Provide general administrative support to the Education Transport team.
About You
* Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths or equivalent relevant education/experience.
* Experience of working within a busy contact centre or other customer‑facing environment.
* Knowledge/experience of using Windows‑based systems and bespoke service‑based software packages.
* Ability to create and update Excel spreadsheets including basic formulas.
* Able to deal with customers in a sympathetic and understanding manner.
