The Role
We are seeking passionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join our growing team. You will work alongside teachers and support staff to promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored lessons for students with SEND.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support.
* Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) under teacher guidance.
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
* Support students during school activities, outings, and events.
* Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals.
Qualifications and Experience#
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting.
* Understanding of SEND support strategies and inclusive education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to individual student needs.
