This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the City of Stoke-on-Trent, initially on a 2-year fixed term contract.
The most important challenge of the role will be to manage the contracts for delivering the Council’s LEVI (Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) funded programmes for the installation of up to 500 charging points across the city.
The role will also support and develop other Electric Vehicle-related initiatives and strategy work. Working closely with a range of partners, including elected Members, internal Council colleagues, and external stakeholder groups, including Sub-National Transport Bodies, Local Authorities, charging point operators, and distribution network providers, in order to develop effective delivery outcomes.
The role will require project management experience, preferably involving the delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure schemes, and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including members of the public.
