Do you have a passion for Hairdressing and want to inspire the next generation? Whether you’re already working in education and looking for your next role, or if you’re working in industry and looking to change your career path, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Hair & Beauty curriculum team in readiness for the start of the 2025/26 academic year.

The North Kent College Hair Academy is proudly affiliated with Lee Stafford Education, meaning staff and students are supported with bespoke training and opportunities for development and enrichment driven from this successful partnership. In addition to this, we work with reputable brands such as Revlon and Redken to participate in training both for staff and students’ multiple times throughout the year to ensure our curriculum remains updated with the latest trends and techniques being used in industry. Our students benefit from working in an environment designed to prepare them for working beyond their studies but with the backing of our Lecturers to guide them, providing a safe and supportive environment for their creative flair to grow through our commercial salons that are open to the public.

As part of the Hair team at the College, you will work with the team to deliver and motivate the next generation of hair industry professionals. You will share your wealth of knowledge to unlock potential, whilst guiding our learners through their studies, and join us on the journey of embracing education, supporting our students in achieving their educational and career goal. The successful candidate will be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to maintain a proactive approach to managing deadlines, whilst retaining a high standard.

The Role:

Where you’ll work:This role is based at our Dartford campus.

Your hours:22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE).

Your pay: £20,531.40 to £25,260 pro rata per annum (£34,219 to £42,100 per annum full time equivalent) dependent on qualifications and experience.
