This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Research, Enterprise & Innovation (RE&I) Services, part of the University's Research, Enterprise & Business Development Directorate. We are a dynamic team committed to supporting research excellence, knowledge mobilisation, and innovation across the University. Within RE&I Services, you will join the Capacity and Facilitation team, which plays a central role in enabling academic staff and postgraduate researchers to thrive.

We are seeking an energetic Research, Enterprise and Knowledge Mobilisation (REKM) Capacity and Culture Manager to help deliver high-quality training, development programmes, and initiatives that support research, innovation, and enterprise across the University. You will play a key role in mobilising the University's knowledge and expertise to benefit our students, academic community, and external partners across the public, private, and third sectors - locally, nationally, and globally.

This is a varied role where you'll manage or contribute to projects and activities aligned with the University's Research, Enterprise & Innovation Implementation Strategies. You will work closely with colleagues from across the institution to co-design and deliver capacity-building programmes and resources that will support us in achieving our research, enterprise and innovation outcomes as part of University Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

You will take the lead on, or contribute to, a range of initiatives within the areas of Research, Enterprise, and Knowledge Mobilisation (REKM). You will support delivery in the following key areas:

* Postgraduate researcher training and development - including support for the Graduate College's training offer.
* Academic development - designing and delivering training for early researchers and academic staff in areas such as research culture, skills, innovation, and enterprise.
* Career-stage specific development - creating tailored training and development opportunities (e.g., leadership, project management) for individuals at different points in their academic careers.
* EDI and community building - facilitating inclusive staff networks, cohort building, and communities of practice that foster belonging and collaboration.

You will have the opportunity to manage standalone projects or work as part of collaborative teams, depending on the nature and scale of the work.
