It's very important that you have experience with all aspects of general accounting and providing support during monthly close processes. Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant job will include: >Timely completion of company account reconciliations, accruals and prepayments. >Preparing monthly VAT return and VAT reports. >Providing reports and analytics when requested. >Support the Assistant Controller during month end close and performing ad hoc tasks. Skills and Competencies required for the Assistant Accountant job will include: >ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualification. >Understanding of SAP or proven ability to pick up new system skills. >Knowledge of VAT, US GAAP and IFRS would be advantageous.
