<div><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are seeking a forward‑thinking Mid-Weight Designer with expertise in utilising AI design tools to create dynamic digital ads and assets for a variety of brands. In this role, you’ll leverage cutting‑edge technology to balance creativity, efficiency, and scalability while producing top‑tier visual content that resonates across multiple platforms. You will be at the forefront of integrating AI into the design process, helping us push the boundaries of what’s possible in design.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Use AI tools like Adobe Firefly, Figma (Auto Flow, Remove.bg & Magician) or other advanced design software to create style proposals, sketches, mockups, and prototypes that initiate design projects for products, features, and campaigns.</li><li>Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs align with client expectations and brand guidelines, while optimising the design workflow.</li><li>Innovate by incorporating AI‑driven design suggestions to inspire and streamline the creative process, improving efficiency and quality.</li><li>Execute the art direction while providing innovative ideas, inspiration, and best practices to enhance the creative process.</li><li>Translate creative briefs into thorough design briefs that inform the design process.</li><li>Ensure pixel‑perfect execution of designs, safeguarding quality at all times.</li><li>Specialise in crafting interactive assets for social media and other digital channels.</li><li>Understand cultural trends and create designs that demonstrate relevance and appeal on social platforms.</li><li>Elevate storytelling through design, combining aesthetics and functionality in motion graphics.</li><li>Ideate and assist in creating style proposals to win pitches.</li><li>Support the production team in quality assurance during project rollouts across various markets.</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><h3>The essentials</h3><ul><li>3–5 years of experience as a Designer, specialising in crafting digital designs and advertising materials.</li><li>Experience in using AI‑powered design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Adobe Firefly & generative design tools, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and design systems.</li><li>Experience with AI in creative workflows, including content generation, predictive design, and optimisation techniques.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers and product managers.</li><li>Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to assess and apply AI solutions effectively.</li></ul><h3>Not a must, but a plus</h3><ul><li>Experience in creating interactive platform projects and meaningful UI designs.</li><li>Knowledge of social media dynamics and how to create engaging content for different platforms.</li><li>Interest in current design trends and cultural relevance to inform creative decisions.</li></ul><p>At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
