Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN/SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Somerset/Bristol. Multiple positions are available, with ongoing hiring to meet diverse needs. We aim to transform the education quality for young people with SEN (Special Education Needs)/SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) and other needs like SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are supporting children with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties). We seek SEN/SEND tutors passionate about transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Somerset/Bristol. At Targeted Provision, our mission is to raise educational support standards for vulnerable young people in the UK, keeping the team around the child, with support from our SEN/SEND Support Specialists.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children with various learning needs in a creative, flexible, trauma-informed manner to enhance engagement and improve educational outcomes.

SEN/SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities:
* Planning each session of teaching/tutoring/mentoring
* Delivering engaging sessions tailored to individual needs to support educational and social-emotional development
* Completing lesson reports and providing progress feedback
* Engaging with us as a Worker for short-term engagements as needed
* Working through a contract for service and paid via PAYE
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage provided
* Insurance covers your work with us
* This is not a self-employed position

Minimum qualifications and experience:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available if needed)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK, including for remote/online work
