Youll plan and lead engaging activities, provide emotional and practical support, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment. This is a community-based role, so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insuranceis essential. As a Childrens Worker: You will be responsible for organising, planning, and supervising a range of engaging activities for children aged 016, while providing both practical and emotional support to them and their parents. Youll support families by offering practical help and emotional guidance, and youll create and review individual support plans tailored to each childs needs. Youll work closely within the team to deliver a high-quality service, keep accurate records, and make sure the environment is safe for everyone. Youll also carry out risk assessments for activities and attend safeguarding meetings when needed. What Were Looking For Level 3 NVQ in Childcare/Play, NNEB or equivalent (or working towards). Experience in childcare or play work. Knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures. Understanding of diverse backgrounds and a commitment to NCHAs CLEAR values. Full UK driving licence.
