This is an exciting apprenticeship opportunity within our recruitment team based here in our Head Office in Sunderland.
The role will be to work within the employed recruitment team where you will be responsible for building relationships with hiring managers to fully understand their needs. You will be required to advertise and attract candidates through various channels to ensure vacancies are filled within a given timeline. You will need to ensure all candidates records are kept fully up to date along with other recruitment admin duties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review and process all internal and external applications, ensuring these are logged onto the database within 24 working hours of receipt
2. Forward shortlisted applications to the recruiting manager/ Regional Sales Manager
3. Arrange interviews for shortlisted applicants
4. Ensure interview notes/ feedback received from recruiting manager within given timescales
5. Communicate outcome of interviews to the applicants
6. Process job vacancy requests, ensuring these are advertised on the relevant job boards
7. Arrange induction for new starters, ensuring all relevant departments are kept up to date with progress
8. Process incoming/ outgoing post
9. Assist with recruitment activity, apprentice assessment days and promotional events

Technical Skills Required
18. Basic knowledge of computer systems Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to utilise its key functionalities
19. Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
20. File management skills
21. Web Navigation Skills
Qualifications/Experience required
22. English & Maths grade 4 or above
General
23. To be committed and dedicated to completing the customer service Apprenticeship programme within the 12 month timescale, attending all relevant training workshops
24. To undertake any other duties that may fall into the job criteria
25. To conform with all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety
26. To treat all employees, customer and suppliers with dignity and respect
