We’re excited to be exclusively partnering with a well-established, growing business within the printing industry to recruit a Team Leader. This is a newly created role, following an internal promotion, highlighting the businesses strong commitment to progression and development of its staff.
The role will be split into 30% team management where you will be tasked with improving performance, drive structure, and 70% of the time you will be calling/outreaching to a significant untapped client base.
The ideal person will have prior experience of working in a outbound call environment and team management experience (121's, KPI setting etc).
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will:
* Drive lead generation activity
* Convert existing data into qualified opportunities for the external Business Development team
* Manage the day-to-day performance, workload, and development of the internal customer sales/service team
* Bring structure, accountability, and direction to a team that requires hands-on leadership and coaching
* Create and implement a clear “plan of attack” to improve both service levels and sales output
* Oversee order processing, queries, and customer experience across a busy operational function
* Maintain accurate CRM reporting and pipeline visibility
What We’re Looking For
This role requires a strong, confident leader who can balance people management with commercial delivery.
You’ll likely have:
* Experience leading or supervising a small team in customer service, telesales, or sales support
* A proven ability to improve underperformance and bring structure to a team
* Strong background in B2B lead generation or sales pipeline development
* Confidence managing different personalities and driving accountability
* A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to “roll up your sleeves”
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Experience using CRM systems and managing sales activity
