The role This is a key role supporting the business development team and general business development practices and systems across Itad. The Business Development Administrator role is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in business development or international development more generally. The role includes the following key responsibilities: Bid support: You will contribute to bids led by other colleagues as. Your contributions will range from due diligence and administrative queries, CV formatting, team searches and producing tailored project references. B usiness Developmen t processes: Contribute to maintaining and developing Business Development processes and systems. Lead identification and research: You will have ownership of identifying new bidding opportunities weekly. You will provide ad-hoc research support to Itad’s Practices to identify and position future business opportunities, identify appropriate organisations to build partnerships with and support Itad’s account management. Business development support to Itad’s Practices: You will provide general support to Itad’s Practices on business development and commercial matters. Framework coordination: support framework management by maintaining up-to-date records of framework agreements, tracking call-down opportunities, and coordinating with consortium members Manage and maintain the Dynamics ATS CV database : ensuring candidate profiles are accurately recorded, regularly updated, and easily accessible for proposal development and recruitment coordination. Account management : Coordination of Account Management meetings and support follow-up on action points The Candidate You are a confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to manage your time effectively and flag issues or queries to the wider team when needed. You have experience in working to moveable deadlines so can balance a varied workload with competing priorities, maintaining exceptional attention to detail throughout. Relationship-building comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working with colleagues at all levels of the business. You take a proactive approach to your work, identifying opportunities to improve processes and introduce new, efficient ways of working. Ideally, you will have experience in a bidding team but this isn't essential.
