The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for making a great first impression of ADP on potential prospects. The SDR acts as a trusted advisor, supporting prospects through complex areas by uncovering pain points and sharing insights to help them find solutions.
The SDR will also:
* Encourage prospects to attend in-person events and webinars.
* Set up and host conference calls to discuss prospects' needs.
* Develop opportunities to move prospects to Closed Won.
* Generate new business opportunities across key markets for our HCM solutions and maintain our position as a global HCM provider.
* Research prospect accounts, provide insights, and engage in high-level conversations with C-suite contacts.
* Profile and desk research existing database targets to ensure key details are identified.
* Use research tools to identify business issues and market trends.
* Utilize social media to promote ADP as an HCM thought leader.
* Build relationships with targeted accounts to keep ADP top of mind for critical business needs.
* Produce a steady flow of qualified, sales-ready opportunities.
* Collaborate with field sales on campaigns and events.
* Accurately update Salesforce.com with all activity.
* Participate in one-on-one meetings with team leaders for feedback and performance monitoring.
* Attend training sessions and team days.
* Take ownership of individual tasks and targets to ensure overall team success.
